Path Trace

Use the Path Trace subtab to retrieve path trace information. For a list of ONS nodes and cards that support this subtab, see Maintenance.

 

Item	Description
Port	Displays the port number.
STS # or VCAT	(Does not apply to all cards) Displays the STS or VCAT member number.
Circuit Type	(Does not apply to all cards) Displays the type of circuit in the path trace.
Expected String	Displays the current expected string.
Mode	Displays the path trace mode (Off/None, Auto, or Manual).
C2	Indicates the value of the C2 string.
Received String	Displays the current received string.
View Hex	Click Hex Mode to display the string in hexadecimal mode.
Retrieve	Retrieves the tab field information.
Help	Displays context-sensitive help.
